Safeguarding the environment by oil recovery
Using a photovoltaic system integrated into the structure of the building, we make the most of potential savings provided by modern solar technology and thus make a visible contribution to the environment. In our production processes too, the idea of sustainability means a lot to us. We place great value on saving resources which affords not only ecological, but also economic advantages.
In order to cool turning operations, high-quality machine oil is fed in which usually has to be disposed of along with the accumulated swarf. By the oil recovery process we use in turning operations in our factory, it is possible to reduce the usual 30% oil carry-over to under 5%. The swarf produced during turning operations is compressed at up to 300 bar so that an almost residue-free metal briquette with a density of 5.06 remains which can also be recycled. With this method it is possible to convert up to 60 kg of swarf to almost residue-free briquettes per hour and at the same time extract 2 litres of oil per hour.
