Paint-spray line
In our paint shop our priorities are high process reliability, flexible production, and ecological as well as economic benefits. The shop can handle components with a painting surface up to 600 mm wide, 500 mm high and 1100 mm long.

Low-dust conditions ensure a flawless paint finish of the highest quality. The whole plant is a closed system based on positive air pressure. Special access permission and room layout combined with the specially-designed ventilation lead to process reliability. For the paint area, the incoming air is individually humidified so that the different relative humidity which is necessary for different types of paints can be controlled. After the in-feed station, the plastic components arrive at the power wash plant, which can be switched on as required. After the blow-off area, dryer and cool-off area comes a check station, before the components are ionised and pass into the primer spray booth.
In the spray booths, nine six-axis paint robots are at work to ensure a three-layer, high quality film build. An undercoat, two basecoats, and clear varnish give the components their shiny appearance. The spray booths are equipped with the latest paint sludge separators.

Heat is provided by a central boiler plant. By means of an integrated heat recovery system the energy required is reduced to a minimum. The production premises are provided with heat and fresh air through a process ventilation unit without the use of external heating devices, so that constant climatic conditions are maintained.
